Installing original steering wheel on 72.
 

I got an original steering wheel to replace the after market one that is currently on my 72. Just got the tractor last week. First does this look like an original steering wheel? Got it off eBay.
Second how difficult will it be to switch them out?

The steering wheel you are showing will fit and it will work. It is for a 100, 102-123 and it is not the correct one for the 72.

You will need a center cap for the wheel you have. The correct wheel is flat and the same for Original, 70,71,72, and 73. Also if you’re wanting “original” stuff you will need to get a different column, grill screen etc. I’m glad you ditched the Harley pipe. Did you find a muffler and heatshield setup?

I may or may not have commented in your other thread but that’s a nice 72.

Thanks for the help. I wondered if that was the correct wheel. I have a K241 so I got a muffler for that motor. Hoping it will fit under the hood.

The steering wheel is in pretty good shape. May put it on and keep looking for the correct one. Anyone need this one for a 100 series?
