Need advice on which vintage Cub to sell with loader?
Hello- I have maybe overdone the Cub cadet thing for a new guy. My neighbor has a mint low hour 7272 for sale. I don't have room but I really would like to buy the machine. Currently I have a running 1967 123 with new battery, three new blades that runs and mows well. I also have a 169 that needs my attention for a carb kit. I managed to buy a FEL that was sold with the cubs back in the day with hydraulic controls. it is not on a cub at this time. Which one of my cubs is best to sell with the loader and what should I ask please? Both mowers have newer batteries and blades. Both mow well. I can post pics tomorrow. I have wanted the 7272 for a long time. He's downsizing in retirement so I have a chance but limited space. Thanks in advance

Personally I would sell the loader separately rather than put out the money and time to get it mounted and working. It should bring about the same money unmounted as it would add to the value of either tractor. The 169 is a sought after model in it's own right and is an easy sell. Post some pictures when you can and the group might be able to give you an idea of value.

I agree with Doc.. Sell the loader unmounted... you will realize more out of it that way and you won't have to fool with getting it mounted and working!

don't matter to me anyways, its too far away for me to be intetested

Thanks guys. Here are some pics. I didn't know the 169 was sought after. Maybe you can give me a idea what this is all worth as my neighbors machine is expensive? Thanks
The loader is a Danco rd1000, the 169 with U-1111 deck shows low hours on the hour meter and has wheel weights. Not sure I trust the hour meter on this machine. The 123 is recently tuned. New battery and fluids changed etc. Again thanks a ton |
Where is the rest of the loader??
Is it complete w/pump, hoses and valving?? Manual trip bucket?? |
loader
Yes the hydraulic pump, levers and the rest of the prices are out of the weather. it's been raining. Sorry I should have noted that. Yes it is a manual trip bucket
