Cub narrow frame paint colors

I was thinking about it, and I wonder: How nice it would look if I painted the grille casting on a narrow frame white like the 185 lo boys?

Anyone ever done this?

Also, anyone know the font of the current Cub cadet logo?

Looks kind of intersting, doesn't it?

What model Cub? The grille housing on the QL you're working on would already be white.

Thinking on getting a 1X6 or 1X7 series tractor, maybe a 126.

Go for it, can always reshoot it.

I bet when IH was in the design stage at some point they looked at that combo.
Before a final decision was made.

Never know, maybe they did!

If you get a 126 I suggest doing it original, they are a rare model tractor. Otherwise I say go for it.

a little off-topic, but here goes: My cub cadet 1000 has a white hood as well as the sheet metal dash area, but the nose and side covers are more of a cream color. Is this possibly a tractor that has been assembled from miscellaneous parts?

More than likely was repainted with wrong white. Should be cream color

Either way, 126 or not, I want a gear drive narrow frame. We have a 124 and 72 but they aren't mine.

And hey, I could always just repaint the grille casting yellow like original. Depends on how it looks.
