What does this plow fit?
2 Attachment(s)
I picked up this snowplow on craigslist hoping it will either fit my 1864 or I can make it fit my 1864, lol. It's a pretty solid 54" I ended up getting for $75 so if I have to put a little money into it I'll be ok. The mounting kit diagrams are a bit confusing to me so I hope one of you guys knows exactly what it's for.
The bars with the pins that lock into the front of the tractor are bent out, not straight like others I've seen and the connection for the lift rod is slotted instead of a hole. They have a bolt in there I'm guessing to take up slop from the lift rod but I know that's not right. I'll need to replace the skid pads but everything else is solid. Thanks for any ideas. |
Looks like one for a 1864, did you get the little thingy that attaches to the rock shaft?
The bolt is not OEM should have a piece of flat stock with two holes and a notch in it. |
Sweet! Something finally worked out, lol. If you mean the little thingy that the other end of the lift rod attaches to I have that but it didn't come with this deal. Guy got the plow off his Aunt along with an old 129 tractor and this was all he had, said he didn't even know what she had the plow for since she didn't have a tractor to fit it, lol.
thanks man, that made my night. Looking at those diagrams I thought it might be the right set up for my 1864 but wasn't sure. Also saw that little plate you were talking about for the lift rod, I'll order one of those tomorrow. Thanks again. |
