K321aqs kohler air duct

This question is regarding a K321AQS KOHLER engen, Im looking for a cast aluminum Air Duct, Ive located quite a few for John Deer 210, 212, 214, & 216 I believe to my knowledge that these John deer models rand the same K321AQS engine as the Cub Cadet quiet lines.

Has anyone used one of the ducts off a John Deer per say with the same Kohler motor in/on your cub cadet ?

The engine numbers match up, so leads me to believe the air duct should match up, Im just wondering how it will fit under the hood.

Any advise is greatly appreciated, or suggestions as to another location w/in OCC forums to post this question that may be more appropriate ...?

Im running a 1450 Cub with a K321AQS 14HP. KOHLER

Much Obliged, as Im still learning the interworking and locations of this forum.

When you say "air duct" the only thing I can think of is the rubber duct that runs from the blower housing to the air cleaner. Is this the piece you're talking about?

I didn't even think of that but I wouldn't describe that part as an air duct.

Per the parts book (you guys should learn to use it, answers a ton of questions!)

Kohler part number "air duct" #KH-47-755-33
Numbers should be cast into the piece.
Compare numbers.

I apologise for being unaware that I was supposed to spend my time on the parts look up trying to figure out what he was talking about.

No, I was referring to the actual aluminum housing attached to the engine that "always breaks."

I realize with better questions I might get better answers. I was referencing the parts book for the description. I should have been more descriptive. When asking for help one should not expect someone to go look up what they are talking about.

Thanks and apologies for leaving out critical information.

While Cub Cadet and John Deer apparently used the same Kohler engines the "Air Ducts" look the same, at least what I can tell via photo references not belonging to me and not having a actual intact one to compare with one another.

MY further research indicates the 7 digit numbers cast into the aluminum duct itself (NOT the Part NO.) are sequential in order with the exception of the last number. 4747204 reads the Cub Cadet and 4747203 reads the John Deer. They are close in all aspect and differ by the last digit. Hence they are not the same.

Question answered thread may be closed.

Thank you ALL again for your feedback, this truly is a valuable resource.

I used a jd one on a cub years ago . but iirc. the right side was about 1" shorter in width I used another piece of metal as a filler panel . the jd muffler must be a little shorter than the cub one.
