IH 48" deck

Hey all, I've been trying to do my due diligence but it seems good old google is fighting against me or else I'm searching the wrong things. Anyway the IH 48" deck under my 125 just upchucked the spindle belt. I can only find information on the newer model deck(aside from user manual). Does the newer deck belt fit the older IH deck? If not does anyone know the part number for this belt? I would like to get this mower running before the weekend so my kid can keep slinging grass. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks Earl

I'm seeing part #IH-489399-R1 on the cub cadet parts website for a 125 with a 48" deck.

You may want to go double check yourself since I don't know the exact years of your equipment.

The Service and Parts section of cubcadet.com has your tractor and lists a 48" deck under attachments.

I would go with a IH481099-R2 per this pdf chart which is hosted here:
www.cubcadet.info/Manuels/Belt-blade_&_PTO_ref_guide_1947-2004.pdf
page B5
Being the 125 was not built after Aug. 1969

I do not know why but the IH-489399-R1 is for a 48" narrow frame tractor and it has the loop style skis instead of gage wheels.
Built after the CC125 ended production.

The earlier narrow frame 48" deck does not have the skis and has gage wheels that are on brackets welded onto the deck outboard of the tractor tires. and uses belt IH-481099-R2
