Plow not pulling in

So here's what I have going on. I have a sleeve mounted Brinly plow that I am pulling with my 122. The issue is the plow will not pull into the ground and "level" off, no matter how i adjust the angle of it, the bottom will not sit flat in the furrow and I am unable to cut deeper than maybe 4" with poor turnover.
This is in soft soil and it is worse in sod. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? This plow has always done this.

If it's only going 4" deep you either need to adjust the tip of the plow down a little more or the lift on the tractor isn't lowering far enough. What gear are you plowing in? You should be plowing in 2nd at full throttle so the tractor is going fast enough to turn the dirt over, if you go slower the dirt just falls back into the furrow.

Post a pic of the plow. It's possible it's just worn out and will never plow right.

I will try to get a pic later. I have tried several speeds, all with the same result. When I lower the tip it will cut deeper but the bottom never levels out the rear is always higher then the front, consequently I never get a nice flat furrow bottom. this video show a very similar situation, notice on the second pass how the back end is way to high. the second half of the video it seems to be corrected but I have no idea what changed

What holes are you using on the lift straps? Is it possible the lift just isn't letting the plow go down far enough?

Post some pics of what you have.

The guy in the video is going too slow. His plow is offset too far from the last pass.

Do you have a coulter on it?
Soft dirt will crumble. You may have a dull share.
What size plow is it?

The lift is not holding it up, I checked that. It Is an 8" plow no coulter... it is quite possible the share is dull, I guess I would just touch that up with an angle grinder? I will post pic's when I get home.... Anyone have a good measurement for the space between rear end of the landside and the ground when the plow and tractor are resting on a level surface?

A good starting point on adjusting your plow is to set both left side tires on 6" blocks and let the plow down to the ground and adjust accordingly. The landslide should sit flat on the ground when both left tires are off the ground.:beerchug:
