Solenoid swap?

Got a bad solenoid on my cub 125, its the 3 post version, i have a 4 post that i pulled from a cub laying around, can i make it work on the 125, or do i need to buy a new three post? Thanks

YUP....it will work.

The differences between the 3 and the 4 terminals solenoids are, the 3 terminal solenoid uses case ground for the negative (black wire) side while the 4 terminal solenoid as the extra terminal not tied to the case.
