LGTX 1050 Issue
 

This is my first post here and need help with a problem my LGTX 1050 has. For some reason every time I engage the PTO for the blades to cut the tractor stalls.

I disengage the PTO and restart it without an issue. It drives forwards and in reverse without an issue. The problem only arises when I activate, or try to activate, the PTO.

Any idea why this is happening and what I might be able to do to fix it? Or is this a "take it to a workshop" problem?

I had the same problem once and it was a dirty carb issue

does it die like you shut the key off? that would be a safety switch issue

if it struggles at all to run, I'd look at cleaning the carb

Could you possibly have a stick stuck between the blade and the mower housing?

Or one of the deck drive belts is jammed somehow? :bigthink:
