Lift handle stop cam

Been having a hard time keeping my lift handle stop cam tight. It loosens up all the time if I don’t tighten it with pliers. Well I finally broke the knob doing this. Went over to my parts tractor which is a 1450 and grabbed the cam and knob off it, but noticed that the cam is reversed in direction. My understanding was that there was only 1 cam style for the 109-169 and 1000-1650. The only part number is IH 544202R2. Anyone have any pictures or can tell me which one is correct? Thank you

The picture of yours would help us, but the part # covers what you said it does.

The one installed seems to hold better, but the upper one in the picture came with the tractor when I got it.

Am not familiar with that cam, but if the back side of cam is rubbing on metal, I would install an external tooth star washer then cam then the knob.

The star washer would bite in an hold the cam in position easier.

It's the same cam, turn it around, inside out

It’s a different cam. It sticks out where the knob and washer side are so it’s exactly opposite

All my WF tractors have the cam sitting loose on the tractor frame and all my QL tractors have the cam you have installed. Never noticed they were different. Learn something new here nearly every day.

They are functionally identical in my experience.

Interesting...

I'll try to remember and check my 149 v 1200/1650 and see if they are different.
