149 PTO Button Removal

How does the PTO Button on the lever come off? Does it twist off or something else? Are there any springs or anything that will fly out?

The top should unscrew and have a coil spring under it. Nothing is going to go flying.

It was the one by the dash tower. I was able to get it off.
