My 129 in SW VA

Well now that I have her running again I thought I would post some pics. This is my 129 more or less as I bought her.
I have a small homestead about 6 acres, not enough land to warrant anything larger than a sub compact tractor..but they are out of my price range plus I like to have projects I can tinker with, so an old garden tractor was perfect. Now that I have chased all the gremlins out of the engine, I can finally start putting it to use around my place. I noticed she does not like to sit still with the brake engaged so I will be putting on some new pads. After that I am considering Ag tires and rigging up some front weights and possibly wheel weights. I live in the mountains and have lots of bumpy inclines. I have been losing driving and steering traction as I have been mowing I think they would go a long way towards negative that.

Nothing wrong with a Polaroid or a potatocam the tractor looks good.

In the short term, you could air down your tires some, particularly in the rear. Beach drivers and drag racers all do the same thing for the same reason: Get more traction .

Nice tractor!

Hell with that. Get some 23 degree firestones; they look and work way better. :biggrin2:
