coil ?
 

:bash2: coil was shot on my k161,so went to fleet farm to new one and they had no referce book to look up, the guy there called the help line of there elec supplyer ( wells ) and they have no idea of any applications under 4 cylinders.
so all coil said use with external resister exept one modle ( lu800 ). but it does not say there is a internal resister in it. so i buy that one hoping it will work, witch it does but it gets very warm after a few min. anyone know if this is the right coil or is there a way to find out witch one will work properlly on my cub, thanks

last i have spark jump from my points to the points bracket that holds them on is this normal, is ben ten years sence i rebuilt cub engine and learning all over again,, thanks
