Flywheel screen for CC100
 

I am looking for a flywheel screen for what I think is a K241. Someone painted over the nameplate. Took a pic of the numbers and the motor. Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately I'm still having terrible luck finding the right screen. Any advice? I'll just keep searching.

According to Kohler, 235190-S Screen IS still available. Done an Internet search and found several sites that had one. Be sure to be sitting down when pricing it though. :bigeyes:

The ebay reference for a used one, was as high as a new one.

The small screen in the picture is that part number. It is too small.

The part number I gave you is what Kohler calls for for the Spec Number (46310). Cub Cadet also calls for the same part number in their Parts Manual. If that the is not correct, then someone deviated from the original part. If that is the case, then your guess to what was used, is as good as anyone elses.

I would say someone mis-labeled the smaller screen with the incorrect P/N. That's for a 7/8 hp engine. The larger one you have is for a 14 hp engine. Here is a link to a brand new one (reasonably priced) in the size you need. Otherwise, search eBay. I see the screens on there all the time.

The price of that part from the previous link is way high. Several online sources have it much cheaper.

How about you post a link to these cheaper screens?

Lance is about the best person that I have ever seen at finding things online. He finds stuff for the best price for me all the time. Usually after I've spent a lot of time looking.... I can't find any screen that matches that part number (new) for less than he linked. There are MULTIPLE listings that have the part number incorrect and show a plastic screen for the KT or Mag engines. I can't find any that matches what the OP needs for less than $50. Most Kohler listings want well into the hundreds of dollars for the screen by that part number.

So if there are "multiple listings" for less, how about helping the OP out and listing some. I can't find one on any of the sponsors pages for less than $50. Or even close to $50.

I've looked for these screens many, many times. New ones aren't cheap.

Edit: I agree the part number is correct. That's not the issue.
