Magic Paint

I just went into Tractor supply today 2/28/2018 and the Magic spray cans of Cub Yellow are on sale for $4. Normally $7.

I agree with Jon on this one. I used majic spray paint on something and a month later I could still put finger prints in the paint. I've also used their paint that comes in a gallon and uses hardener and it wasn't much better. I painted something red with it and after 6 months of sitting outside it turned pink which leads me to believe it doesn't have much uv protection.

Junk! In my opinion, they should pay you $4 for taking it out of the store.

Totally agree that paint is garbage! I painted my 682 with their IH Red, looked good at first and by the end of summer was faded so bad couldn't even get the color back with a buffer! Painted both my pulling cubs with Rustoleom Safety Red over 10 years ago and until I re-painted them both last year, other than a few Knicks being touched up the color was still bright and shining! You get what you pay for!!!

Is Rustoleum Safety Red close to IH Red?

I agree, Rustoleum isn't bad at all. I have a 48" cut mower deck that still looks great, for a spray can job, after 7 years. The white (canvas? can't remember) is close enough to the Cub Cadet color, for me.

Canvas is too white. Almond is the closest to IH white.

I bought this at Tractor Supply, fifteen bucks a quart. They also have it in spray cans.

Which IH white? Seems to me that it’s almost a dead match match to 935 but not the other 2

Thanks iron man. Didn’t know they made that. Doesn’t look like they have our yellow but does say IH white I wonder what white it’s closest to? I like rustoleum products too
