Forward and reverse

Well the other day while I was snow blowing on my 127 I noticed that a third hand would be nice to have. From steering, picking the blower up and down, spinning the shoot, and using the lever to move forward and reverse, I wondered how this could be easier. Now if the newer model hydro-static Cubs have normal pedals for forward and reverse, has anyone ever moved the forward and reverse level on a older Cub to the foot pedal setup? Once less thing to need a hand for.

Yes, people have done it, but not many. It's not an easy thing to do.
Yep. Takes an octopus to drive. That's how a lot of older equipment is. Get a steering wheel spinner. Makes steering one handed easier. Make sure the hydro friction nut is snug so it will hold speed. Steering wheel is what I usually let go of. At low speeds, you don't have to keep a hold of it much.
