451 snowblower on super?

Hello. I have a 2084 super and I am looking at a 451 snow lower for it. I know it is the right model for the tractor, but it came off of a 1863. Will it need any modification since the super is longer (lift arm, chute control etc.)? The manual says something about an extension kit. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Well, the manual is a pretty good source for information. If it says you need it, you do.... and I concur.

You can buy both the extension kit and longer lift straps from Aaron at xtreme:

Download a copy of the manual. I believe you only need the extensions and a new belt to move up to the super. The 451 lift straps have more length/adjustment than a 450 blower. Double check the manual to be certain.
