What is the correct way to tow a cub with a hydrostatic trans? Other tractor I've owned had a toe valve.

Depends on what model it is, what model is it?

I had a couple of old simplicitys that had tow valves and I had an old ford with one.

The 782 has auto valves that automatically release once the engine is shut off.

Even with auto release valves, you should not tow (or toe:biggrin2:) a Cub hydro more than a few hundred feet at very low (like walking) speed.

I've been the recipient of a hydro that had been towed at higher speed. The result ain't pretty:

lift the rear wheels off the ground and use a dolly, etc
