I'm getting ready to mount this on the 782, the pulley has been ordered so while I wait I figured I'd get the spout cleaned up. I cleaned the rust and paint off with a fiber wheel and then hit it with some 220 sand paper, then I ran the small buffer on it to shine it up a bit and then gave it a good coat of wax. It's super slick now so hopefully it won't want to clog up all the time.

Cool. It will make a difference.

Coat it with oil when you put it away for the season every year. Just like a plow. You might get a little surface rust, but it will shine right up!

Hopefully you get the chance to use it. We have gotten screwed out of snow the last two years.

I hear you. Last year i only plowed my driveway twice and i never put the chains on, the ground never froze so it was a muddy mess and the Carlisle's had plenty of traction.
