Can I adapt a #2 tiller to a CCC 582?

I purchased a 1984 CCC 582 w/ creeper to mount a #2 tiller on. As I didn't do my homework before hand, I have an aluminum rear. Is there an adapter or some way to "fit" the #2 tiller to my 582? Also, do I need anything special in a rear lift for this tractor?
Model Number
144582100
Serial Number

I spent a lot of time getting her adjusted and running correctly & don't want to sell/ trade if I can get the #2 tiller to work.
Thanks for any help.

CD, here is what I found from a 1988 Attachment Catalog. I am guessing this is a long shot as far as finding these Adapter Packages.

There is always custom fabricating too.

There are only 2 ways that you can put a 2B tiller on a 582 with an aluminum rear.

1.) The way Cub Cadet offered: Use a Cat 0 3pt hitch and a special adapter that is rare as hens teeth to find.

----OR-----

2.) Build your own adapter and make the tiller work with a sleeve hitch.

I did #2.

I have since moved my "adapter" to my 1050 and use it. Same set up as your 582.

You will need either a sleeve hitch, or cat 0 3pt to attach the tiller. If your tractor has neither, then you will have to get one or the other. Oh.... and you are going to want a spring assist too. That tiller is a heavy SOB, lol.

Now I know why folks with the CCC 582's "Just want it gone".

why not put a cast rear in your 582?

I'd love to have that 582.

I will sell or trade, but I need to put that info in the classifieds. Roughly she has 60 hours per year.
