Harvest 2017
 

Well gentlemen, as many of you I'm sure know, harvest 2017 has started. I've been drawn in between the normal 45+hr/wk job and harvest so time has been scarce. I just thought I'd share a couple videos of this years harvest thus far. The first video is of me running the combine (please ignore the yield monitor, bu/ac isn't calibrated so it's not 300+ :biggrin2:) and the second video is of me running the grain cart. There hasn't been too much lately as rain has kept us at bay but we'll get 'er done. Hope you enjoy!

We've got a while to go before corn up here.

Thanks for the video's. Moisture near 24? My brothers have not tried any corn yet. Half done or a little better with their soy beans.

Corn was around 26-27 when started a few weeks ago, dropped a couple points since then. We can't seem to get our beans done, every time we get switched and good going we get rain. We've been rained out of one 80 acre field three times now! :bash2:

Corn here is testing around 15%. Only stuff that was anywhere near 20% was shelled 3 weeks ago.

Ryan, you better drive that combine faster if you ever want to get done! That thing should shell corn at 4mph at least. :BlahBlah::beerchug:

Oh it goes faster :biggrin2: that was one of the first days and we were having a sensor problem at the time so I was taking it easy. I'll have to post a faster one for ya once I get the chance :biggrin2: :beerchug: we usually run about 3.5 and up once we get going.
