Common Sense in Very Short Supply

Young guy couple doors down brought home a new Husqvarna lawn tractor yesterday morning. Rolled it off the Lowe's trailer to the edge of the front lawn. I'm woken at 5am this morning due to incredible downpour. Ran out to retrieve the Sunday newspaper at our roadside mailbox so as to not get too wet about 9am. Tractor still in the same place, with the hood open.

Hope he purchased the additional 3-year warrantee...

I am always amazed as I drive around and see how many people leave their equipment out in the weather. Although growing up it seemed like all the old timers left their farm tractors out around here. Always had a coffee can over the muffler. I am now up to 5 out buildings as not to leave anything out.

I feel the same way,you pay good money for something take care of it.Seems like common sense is not as common as it once was.I hate to leave anything out in the weather .

Those old tractors were meant to be outside, everything was greasable and steel didn't rust as bad back then. This new stuff just won't take it, you won't find my stuff outside either!

I don't even like to leave parts tractors outside.
