Got some pics. A good start on my 1650

Finally got around to posting some pics of parts of my 1650 rebuild. Still need to finish cleaning and paint a lot of things, but at least there is some progress.
You'll also note a couple new toys...er...tools I've added to my shop. Love the Harbor Freight blasting cabinet. Baking soda is great for removing paint without damaging metal, and 70 grit Alum Oxide is great for paint and rust removal. Also bought a 20 gal parts cleaning basin that was on sale while I was there. They make cleaning and paint prepping parts a clean and easy job.:biggrin2.gif: Next job is the motor mount mod. |

Tony, Great pictures! I've been eyeing that blasting cabinet myself. Never heard about using baking soda in one before tho.
