An interesting thing happened in the Tri State area today.

I was compelled to journey away from my sanctum to the mythical Delaware River region. Along the way I found myself in the presence of greatness. All things Cub were discussed. Very fine examples of Cub Cadets were viewed all nestled away from passing eyes. Stories were swapped. I had to wipe my chin of dripping :drool2: more than once. Monies were exchanged for parts which I never expected to find today.

It's always fun to meet another Cub collector. Finding the parts you need is even better.
Any time you need a partner for a road trip, let me know!

Nice to meet you and your nephew Steve, glad I could help out on the parts.
BTW you missed the other storage areas with tires and such.

That is a cool little tractor, did the kids see it yet?

I have to say that you guys kinda look like you could be brothers. :biggrin2:

How long of a drive was it for you to Montagoo Steve? Aren't you in central/western New York?

Good that you guys met up, that young man has a lot of parts for sure.

Lew, it was an excellent visit and I thank you for your hospitality. However, I have done nothing but think of all kinds of things I should have asked you if you had them set aside for sale. Once the check book recovers........:bigthink:

I held back on the tractor and wagon for the kids. Their cousins were over all day and I would have hated to see the rig wrecked on its first day.

Alvy, the gps showed 2 hours 59 minutes from drive way to driveway. I am in in central NY/ Finger Lakes area. Much closer to 4 hours with a stop for filling the gas tank, emptying the bladders, and road construction. Oh, visited some kick a$$ gun shops also.:biggrin2:

No weights? Couldn't have been THE Lew you met. :biggrin2:
