pto cc106

pto adjusting without adjusting tool possible. if so how is it done. i have the following new parts disc spring, bolts, nuts, disc, both buttons. i'm confused because old spring fix inside pulley. the new one is flat and looking at pictures online it looks like it just lays across the top of pulley and then you install button and throw out levers. But how tight do you tighten bolts on throw out levers. because i dont have a adjusting tool.
thanks for help.

Read the thread below... the instructions are there for the adjustment guide...

I believe you may have had a type A and now sounds like you have the spring for a type B...

Do you need to use 2 spring disc on pto or is it ok to use one. That is flat disc spring.

The links should show you the difference between the type A & B. You'll note differences in the pulley & spring configuration. I suggest you rebuild with all of the proper parts for your setup. If it calls for two springs I'm sure IH did that for a reason.
