Model 100

I just purchased my first Cub, a Model 100 with mower deck and snowplow. I have a few questions.

Where is the serial number?

It has a 50A mower deck. What size belt goes to the deck?

Where can I find an air cleaner assembly?

Thanks

(A) the 100 would have one hell of a time with a 50" mower deck. A 38" or 42" was more inline with the 100's capabilities.
(B) The 50A Mower Deck was NEVER designed for the 100

There is no belt chart or guideline for the 100 w/50A deck combination.

As Roland said the 50" deck is going to be a bit much for the 100 unless you mow twice a week and never let it get tall. Where in PA are you located? Congrats on the new Cub.:beerchug:

That is what I feared after doing some research. I was planning on replacing my MTD riding mower with the Cub. I guess I have to keep the MTD going a little longer.
Thanks for the help.

there was a guy on the other tractor site that I frequent who was asking about a "100" and when he posted pix it was actually a "1000". still with a 10hp a 50" would be a workout, but would be an easier fit to the frame/chassis... wonder if we are talking about the same mixup in tractor model here?

I only run a 44" deck on my 1000. She cuts great. I don't think I'd put a bigger deck on a 10 horse. Actually, all my Quietline tractors run 44a decks, except my 1100, it runs a 38c.

No, it is definitely a 100. Do you have any fenders lying around? Lol

I found the serial number block but I cannot see any numbers on it.

Are the frames and mules specific to a mower deck or does the 38" and the 42" use the same one?

Thanks for all the help. My first Cub and I already think I have a problem and need meetings or something.

We were all new once, but it was so long ago, FDR was in office.:bigthink:
