682 hydro adjustment?
 

Last week I bought a IH 682 it has 2 issues with it the first is the pto which I've already posted about and am still diagnosing, the second is the transmission. You have to keep your hand on the speed control or it will go faster and faster until its at full speed even on level or uphill. I bought a CC 680 this spring in great shape runs and mows great, the 680 speeds up a little going downhill but nothing too bad. The 682 is extreme, is there an adjustment that controls it?
For the record, The cubs I've owned in the past were gear drive and mechanical pto clutches so when it comes to this newfangled stuff I'm at a loss.

There is a "friction" assembly (nut and washers) at the bottom of Hydro Lever Arm pivot point, that needs to be tightened.
