Hi I'm new around here. Just bought myself a Cub 72. Poor old boy needs some TLC but I'm getting there!

Sorry for the late reply. From Columbus area. I'll post a pic as soon as I'm able to. Got the Cub 72 partially apart now to clean it up, rebuilt carb & cleaned. Cant keep it running now tho; fires up with starter fluid (which I hate) and dies instantly. Been searching this site for some answers , im sure i'll get it going eventually.

If it starts with starter fluid, (wouldn't be my first choice) but won't without, seems you have a fuel to carb issue. Did you disconnect the fuel line at the carb to see if you have flow?
Do you have the original fuel bowl still on the tank? This is where pictures help, so for now we'll leave it there till we here back from you.:bigthink:
