Hello all
I'm about to rebuild the clutch on my 128 but have a question about the teaser spring. Do I have it right way in the mock up picture? I looked at the parts diagram and seen that it looks like I might have it backwards. The second pic is how bad the driveshaft and throw out were.

Looks right to me.

You have it right. The parts diagram is wrong.

Hello all
I rebuilt the clutch on the 128 but now I'm lost on the adjustment. I think the clutch adjusting rod is to long it measures at 11 1/2" is that the right length ?
I was reading the manual and I need .050 between the release lever and throw out bearing,As right now I have 7/16" with the adjusting nut all the way in. Here is some pictures the last 2 show how far the pedal is in the braking zone
before the release lever comes in contact with the throw out bearing.

Did you put the bearing in backwards? I can't tell.

Where is the teaser spring and the cup it rides in? (Called a spacer in the parts book.) I can't really tell in your pics....

Something for sure isn't right.

Hello J
Here are 2 more pic's for you the teaser is inside the cup. With the pedal all the way down it starts to open. I'm using a stock I just painted it yellow.

I am assuming you are using a cc oem throw out bearing.
Adding more washers behind the nut onto the adjusting rod will help.
