WF headlites on a QL?

Has any one put Wideframe headlites on a QL?.Seems they would fit nose is the same with a center support. The QL lites were never very good at best.Going on a 1250 with hyd lift for my daughter in MI.Kind of a Johnny Cash tractor.

Just be cautious about heat loss. Remember the QL series had the side panels and a mesh back for the light panel used for channeling out the heat through the front of the tractor and the WF had open sides with a solid back to the light panel. If you go with a solid light panel with side panels, that may not allow enough heat to escape as quickly as needed to cool the engine compartment to a tolerable level. Of course, that will depend on the duration the tractor is in use. It will probably be just fine. I am just tossing this info out as food for thought. I have seen some headlights and wiring that looked pretty roasty toasty before!!!

It will be on a small lot and only 12hp the area infront of the muffler is open. The QL lites are not very good rubber moves around the WF seems better.

There are ways around that. But even if you get the rubber to stop turning, sometimes the lamp themselves will still turn under the engine vibration. This makes me wonder if there are "new" rubber headlamp retainers available? Seems that would be a good solution. But yea, go for your idea! The wide frame series nose look great on a Quiet Line!
