Cub Fast Hitch needed

Hey Guys,
I'm looking for a Fast Hitch for my International Cub. Are they still made or am I looking for a used one from back in the day? I see online equipment with the fast hitch connectors are still being made. Thanks all!

Try any salvage yard in the Southeast.

Green's in eastern, NC
Fitz in Cascade, Va
Rice in southern Va

I assume you're looking for the Brinly adapter portion? Xtreme Motor Works makes them new, or you can watch eBay for them to come up for sale.

Hmmm, sounded to me like he wants a Fast Hitch for a Farmall/IH Cub tractor--not a sleeve hitch for a Cadet.:bigthink:
Maybe we need clarification here. To the OP, are you working on a tractor or a lawnmower?

He said "Fast Hitch for my International Cub", not Cub Cadet. To that point as far as I know you will need to look for a used one.

Here is some info and some used stuff for sale.

Thank you all!

Yeah the fast hitch is needed for my 1972 International Cub tractor. It looks like I might be finding an original one. I thought as popular as the little tractors are a company would be reproducing them. Thanks for the replys.

This forum is about CUB CADETS. You would be better off making an inquiry at www.farmallcub.com. They deal with Cubs on a primary scale.

No, no one reproduces them. You have to buy used.

If your tractor doesn't have one on it, it will be a job to install it. You will need to mount a pump, the hydraulic unit/reservoir, control and of coarse the hitch itself. It's not a simple bolt on deal on the rear..... Hope you already knew that.

Fast hitch implements have a pointy triangular piece to them. Back into said implement, lift and go. You could also try tractorhouse, but I'd look at a tractor salvage yard too.

I've seen a gazillion Cubs, and only 1 or 2 didn't have hydraulics. Putting the fast hitch on is not that big of an ordeal. It is good that you pointed out he needs hydraulics though, there are some things so common place we just take for granted. :beerchug: FWIW, I've never seen that new of a Cub without them, don't know if it was standard by then or not. Come to think of it most of the late model Cubs (around here anyway) had the fast hitch setup--probably a marketing thing as basically all the 140's sold in the 70's were equipped with fast hitch as well.
