Cub lift ???
As I get older I realize I need to work smarter not harder. I'd be interested in seeing what you all have to get your Cubs up off the floor to a better working height. Lift tables, ramps, whatever. I'd like to build or buy something that would save my back while doing work on the tractors. Thanks for your ideas! Stan

Cub Crazy found a surplus yard a couple years ago selling some air powered lifts that came out of the York PA Harley factory. We both bought one. Extended the ends about 18". It will lift a Super with a 60 Haban with no strain. Link to the company that made it. http://www.advancelifts.com/

Your lift is way more expensive than my lift and I can work inside with my lift. :biggrin2: |
Sam - your lift would be about what I had in mind. What are the table dimensions after your welded modifications? I see Harbor Freight has a motorcycle lift for $500 with coupon its around $300 but the table is only 30" wide.

Seems like I saw a post here quite a while back that showed someone's homemade drive on table. Basically a big box with ramps to get up on it, but I couldn't find the post.

I've got a Harbor Freight ceiling mounted electric cable hoist. Simple and cheap in price. I can stand the super strait up without an issue. I lifted the whole Original up to put it on a table.:biggrin2:
Then while it's up, pull up your favorite chair and work on anything on the bottom in wide oped comfort.:beerchug: |
Any body else got an interesting way to lift your Cub?

Google motorcycle lift tables and ATV lift tables. For what it's worth I had a Harbor Freight lift and it wouldn't handle a Cub. It was OK for a bike.
