Anyone with a 127?
I recently acquired a 127, and am trying to square away a number of details. Rather than bother everyone on the board with model-specific minutia, I'd like to find someone in the local Colorado Springs area, or on this board, that also has a 127. I'd like to share/glean information on how certain details are "supposed" to be, so I can correct what the previous owner cobbled together. Having said that, if it is best to delve into this level of detail on the board, I will gladly do so - I just didn't want to waste people's time.
Thank for your help! Heinz |
Don't have one myself, but I'm sure plenty of folks have them that can help. Looks like the northeast is snowed in right now and would probably be glad to help. Post pics of problems if you can.

Be warned we don't answer stupid questions

Welcome to OCC. Download the manuals and any sales brochures, the pictures are very handy to have.

Hi. I have a 127. I bought it last spring and have been working out the kinks since then. It's amazing what I didn't know to check or look for because I was new to international cubs but its been a good learning experience.

I don't know if mine are coincided "correct," but they are fairly unmolested for 50 year old machines. They are how they were when I bought them and usually only made changes to put them back closer to original (except for the 149). I have lots of other projects mixed in but there are quite a few pictures of my 2 127's on my flicker if you ever want to check them out for reference. https://www.flickr.com/photos/104090368@N08/
Like RLause said, manuals and sales brochures are probably the best reference to the original besides owning one when new. |
