Rear PTO swap

So I was toying with the idea of taking the rear PTO out of the 1200 and putting it in my 100. From what little information I could find and referring to Parts tree. Comparing both transmission diagrams the part numbers are the same except for the engagement levers. So other than that this should just swap over correct? The 1200 ended up being a better donor tractor for the 1250 dual stick, which is why I'm contemplating this. Yes, I know there were few attachments for it but I want it on it because I can. I have a rear belt pulley I would like to run on it so dad and I can run the corn Sheller at the Yester year shows. Thanks

Does the 1200 rear has internal brakes?,maybe easier to swap rears then.

Even if you swap rears the linkage is different and you may have a hard time coming up with the linkage. If you decide to do that, I might be able to take some pics of my 100. Its currently buried in storage and am not sure I can get to it.

Are the linkages the same between the Cub lo boys and the cadets?

Yes... but only for the smaller non-fendered tractors. 70, 100, 71, 72, 73.
