Crankshaft sleeve

I was wondering if anybody knew of a good place to get a sleeve for my ch18. I'm swapping it into my 782 and the kt17 has what I imagine to be a 1 1/8 crankshaft. The ch18 has a 1 inch. I haven't found my mic yet to tell for sure but the sizes sound about right.

last time I did a 1" to 1-1/8" swap I got a bushing from McMaster and some key stock. had the local machine shop cut the key way slot in the bushing. Here are the part numbers
1" ID X 1-1/8" OD X 4" bushing 6381K18

1/4" X 5/16" key stock 98491A137

I'll toss out another thought, if your PTO is getting tired you may want to think about putting a new one on. Zippy just got a PTO for his re-powered 1872 from Xtreme PTO's https://xtremeope.com/ they built it with the small pulley and 1" id to match his engine and tractor.

Just thinking that you may want to contact Zippy, I'm pretty sure he has the bushings and key from his swap left over now that he has replaced his PTO. :bigthink:

I may do that if I have some time. Thanks

Just a sleeve would be less expensive than a sleeve cut for an extended key. Let me know what you want and I'll give a price.
