Kohler Command CH20 PTO Crank Bolt
 

Howdy folks. I did not think this would be to hard to find, but I have not found it yet, so I thought I would ask. I bought a Kohler command CH20 that does not have the pto bolt in the crank. The two things I need to do is find the thread size/ bolt size and buy a bolt. The other is to find the proper tread size so I can buy a tap to clean up the threads. The threads are in rough shape but look like I should be able to clean them up.
I do have a pto bolt from a KT17 that looks close to the fine threads in the CH20 but it wont start, either because its not the right size, or I need to clean up the threads. Can anyone tell me what the thread size is on the CH20, and if you knew the the KT17 pto bolt would be the same size as the CH20? Every place I have found with exploded parts lists seem to leave out the pto side bolts. Thanks in advance, TB

I should have added, that this motor did come out of a cub cadet, don't know what model. And the motor model is 64638 (from memory, but might be wrong). When I get home I can post the entire motor model information from the tag, if that is needed. Thanks, TB

I'm thinking it might be a metric thread .

710-0757 Screw, Hex Cap, 7/16-20 x 1.50 Lg GR5 from the parts lookup for a 2284.
