PTO switch question
My PTO switch went out on my 1450. Can I use a DPDT switch and not hook up one end of it, or do I have to get a DPST pto switch from CC?

The original Q/L PTO switch is a DPDT Switch.

So, tell me if I am reading the schematics correctly. In the off position you put the safety switch on one side and the ignition switch on the other side. In the on position you put the fuse on one side and the PTO clutch on the other side.

The original IH design PTO switch is a DPDT but uniquely built. It only has 5 terminals instead of the traditional 6.
Here is a Elec Schematic of a DPDT used in a QL circuit. The switch is rated for 15A. http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w.../1-QLPTOSW.jpg |
Sorry to be a pain about this, in the sketch B would be the fuse A the PTO, C the safety switch and D the ignition switch?
