Is $350 a good ballpark price for this ?

Looks fair, seller looks like he went through it to sell, but makes no mention about the clutch for the tranny. $300, as long as it has no other issues.

I wouldn't be afraid of it. Looks like a pretty solid old machine and it has the spring assist option. Its also #5 on the rare list, so that all being said, 350.00 is a very fair asking price!

If your nephew has the coin, tell him to dive in

I don't think that is the correct muffler but for a worker its a non issue. I've got an 86 for odds & ends & it's a good machine. I think I gave $100 for mine with a broken rod.

Spring assist is nice too

Looks like a fairly good deal.

Let the haggling begin! That's a nice looking mower and in my opinion, worth the price. Don't be worried about power, I used to till with a 7 HP Cub Original.
