Thank You

I would like to thank everyone here for helping me make my little original "prettier" than it was before. I started this project in July and worked as hard as I could until school started back up. During school I had no time to work on my cub because of summer sports. But they just got done a week ago and I've been working until my parents say "bedtime":Irratated: sometimes I hate being a kid. My old man is busy all the time and my mom doesn't know a whole lot about lawn and garden tractors, so I did this solo, with some help with my brother and grandpa. Anyways, I bought it cheap and probably paid too much to get it like this. But it's all about the fun in my opinion, the clutch problem is fixed, the engine runs smooth. I'm kind of worried about what the muffler heat will do to the paint though:bigthink: has that bothered anybody here? Even though I'm just a teen, I know that people older than me are smarter, that's the reason I joined this site, after all if it wasn't for you guys, and Todds Original thread, this tractor wouldn't look like it is now. I look up to you guys. And I hope to have your skills when I'm older.
Ok ok, enough mushy mushy,
Here's before and after.
Thanks again you guys I had fun with this one,
I might even have a lead on another one too:biggrin2:
God Bless,
Noah

Ya! That looks awesome. You should be proud. I did projects like that in my teens and it is a skill you will be glad you developed.

Wow Noah great job. Some of us have done an original and yours looks just as good and you should be proud of yourself. That's cool that you're a humble kid and gave props to some of the elders, that's a great quality to have. Nothing better than an early narrow frame with rear a gas and tri ribs up front. Share some more pics and details of the refurb like paint type and how you did certain things. Excellent work young man!

PS where did you get the missing mule cover from? Seems like most Os are missing them, xtreme sells a repro and they show up once in a while but not often

You should be very proud of yourself! The Original looks wonderful. I'm an old man and can't do as good as you did on the old girl. Keep the pictures coming.:beerchug::beerchug::beerchug:
