Dirty Girl

Special thanks to OCC member Dirty Steve for the heads up on this one. It's a very grubby 1882 with a 450 blower and a 46" deck (not pictured). I also got a set of snow chains with it, all for less than $500. It was a 325 mile round trip but on a beautiful sunny day and time off from work, so no worries at all.
All the front plastic is pretty tough, broken tabs etc. but nothing is rare, so it will be an easy build. The front crank seal has been leaking for several months and the PO just kept adding oil. What a greasy mess! It's headed for a date with the steam cleaner tonight at work. The seal is already ordered! Surprisingly everything seems to work, just very dirty. This is my third Cub in less than 4 months, you're darn right it's an addiction! |
Title bait.... I got all excited! :biggrin2:
Nice score! :beerchug: |

Congrats on the 1882!

Nice find on the new additions. When you mount the snowblower, make sure the chute is pointed in the opposite direction. :biggrin2:
