You might be wondering what a 129-C is. Well, it's a 129 with a creeper gear! I was on Craigslist yesterday morning, and found an ad for a pile of parts which was the remains of a rather grizzly experiment; someone took a hydro tranny, and put it into a Cub with a geared tranny ( possibly a 1200). Out of morbid curiosity I drove an hour and a half to look at it. Mostly, I was interested in the engine.
When I got there and looked at it, all I could think of was parting it out. I saw that it had a creeper gear, hood, four tires (two even have air) and even a spring assist. There is also a couple of buckets with some parts such as rods, brackets etc. It needs a clutch,a seat, and the starter/generator needs a hug. :biggrin2: Other than that, I think I have a pretty complete 129-C.
Oh yeah, the whole mess was mine for $100.
