We had one of the three poplar trees cut down today. It was 15 feet from the house and 5 feet from the power lines. One guy climbed and two on the ground. The guy in the tree did 95% of the work. He really knew what he was doing. The only thing scratched was the ground!:biggrin2:

Here's a few pics and a video of him topping it. Notice the shove as it falls. I think that kept the power on!:biggrin2::bigthink::beer2:

This is why it was cut down.

Now that is talent and balls rolled up in a package with a chainsaw. Nice.

Great video, that's why people call professionals. I love watching amateurs at it with ropes tied to truck bumpers etc, always entertaining.

Its funny you say that. They actually did have it tied to a truck bumper! They had a pulley on a big tree down in the woods. I'd say they only cleared the power line by less than a foot.

After looking for the Deere key Dad hid from me for 3 hours, I started some cleanup. I wish I had a claw bucket!:bigthink::beerchug:

Thanks Allen! I wish I could get every load that full while letting the tractor do all the work!:biggrin2:
