New member with new/old Mod 100
 

Picked this up a few days ago, Mod 100 SN#126294 with Kohler 301A. The engine sure looks like it was there since new. Did any 100s have this engine from the factory? This is only my second Cub Cadet as I had a Mod 70 maybe 25 years ago. I would like to get it going and add a sleeve hitch for Brinley attachments to take over for my Wheel Horse.

Nice 100, Marvin! The 100's came from the factory using the K-241 engines. Your engine has been replaced sometime during it's life. :beerchug:

That is an interesting seat!!! It says "Joy Ride" on the side of it?? Did it have a cushion to it, too? Interesting!!!:bigthink:

The model 100 rolled off the line with a Kohler K-241 in it. Anything other than that is a transplant.

Seat was made in Nebraska It has/had a bottom cushion but it blew off on the trip back from Hays Kansas which is where I went to get it and a Wheel Horse C-105. I need to find some parts for the Cub so I'll make a post in the wanted area. Thanks for the welcome guys.
