Adding FEL to 1650

I have a 1650 I just picked up with the hopes to turn it into a mini backhoe/loader. Ordered PF engineering plans to build but came across a small loader off a yanmar garden tractor that dimensionally will fit just need to modify my subframe a bit my question is there anyone out there that has up close pics or advice on mounting/plumbing. I'm a plumber by trade but hydraulic sizing and gpm is all new to me so I'm trying to get input on what kinds of pumps guys are running and how they're driving them and plumbing them. I know the loader was off a yanmar that had hydraulic pump and everything built into it so I assume I'll need to add a punp off the front pto I'm just lost with which one to get and how to size it for the future back hoe I plan on building. Thank you in advance as I'm a novice to forums as well

Bobby

Go to "My Tractor Forum" then scroll way down to the Hydraulics section. You will find all kinds of information that will help you.
Also check out the Garden Tractor section there. There is a thread in the accessories section that is dedicated to loaders.

Yeah I came across 2 just this week I just took the better deal on this one. I have to say I really love this tractor it runs really well and for the $250 I paid for it I couldn't be happier

Welcome to OCC:beerchug:
I can't add anything to help you out, but will be watching for your build.

Goes without saying, but if you cant find one, build it. Atleast for me, I can usually build wat i want with greater functionality and sized correctly lesss money than can be purchased commercially.

Yeah I agree I try to make things to suit my needs, I've always wanted an old cub but I actually bought this machine out of necessity I have a lot of light digging and grading to do and not the deep pockets for a Kubota so I figured this is just as good for my needs and budget. Plus it looks cooler too
