What would it cost to rebuild the starter/gen on my O ?

Yourself? Or have a shop do it?

Depends what it needs. If a shop does it, you may have $120 in it if it needs a bunch of work.

That depends on what is wrong with it.

Regardless....it is way better to rebuild that Delco-Remy S/G, than to replace it with the cheap Chinese junk one sees all the time on the internet.

yeah i wont buy after market my O just turns over slower than id like

Quick question my o hasnt ran in roughly 9 years. We got it running and it barely cranks over. It whirled over initially half decent. Now its barely creeps over. Could my starter just be all gummed up from sitting? Any tips or insight

Battery? Wiring? Solenoid? ?????? Did you check all this stuff? Could just be a poor connection.

In picking up a new battery tomorrow after work. Everything else seems fine. We pull started it she pops right off one pull
