Questions about 1450/1650
:bigthink:
I mow and do snow removal for several retirees in our subdivision. My pay is usually a meal or baked goods. I'm currently using a 1971 Sears SS-12 that my father purchased new. We had 2 big snows this year and the gear drive with manual lift just ain't cutting' it, I'm getting' too old. I'm looking to purchase a 1450 or 1650. As I've owned a 140H3, I want hydraulics. My questions are: 1. Can additional hydraulics ports be added to the 1450 and 1650 for hydraulic angle blades and hydraulic lift 3 point hitches? I need to use front dozer blade and rear grader blade together. 2. How can I find out what attachments fit these tractors? I'd like a tiller, angling front dozer blade, snow blower and 3 point hitch and possibly a cab. Thanks for any and all help. |
First, Welcome to our Forum.......... :Welcome2:
The 1450/1650 came with hydraulics for implement lift. SOME came with dual Hydraulics with a factory option for front hydraulics. NOW I have seen the ingenuity of some Cub Owners where they have "tee'd " into the line going to the front ports and pipe up a port for rear implements, I have also seen where some Cub Owners have added a third Hydraulic Valve for rear implements in conjunction with the Dual Spool Valve. There a a number of implements for the IH Cub Cadets. Look into our Implement Section and the Implement Tech Library to see most of these options. |
Thank you sir!

Thanks for the info. I found what I needed except for the model snowthrower or snowblower that fits the 1450.

QA36A, QA-42A, and 364 are the snowthrowers that'll fit a 1450.
