Hello from the U.P.

Hello!
I've inherited a beautiful 124 from my late father in law. Drove down to Illinois this weekend and brought it home. My wife spent many childhood hours on this tractor mowing the lawn so it's pretty fun for her that I'm resurrecting it. It's got typical ten years of storage problems, I'll be replacing most of the fuel and ignition systems, but is very solid and looks good too. Attachment 3549 Attachment 3550 I rescued a 1A tiller from the dirt and weeds at my own parents' house. Attachment 3551 I'm shopping for a creeper, three point hitch, sleeve hitch, and a snowblower... probably tiller parts at some point...:beerchug: |

Great looking 124! It's awesome that your keeping it in the family! |
You aren't fooling that's a beauty....straighten up those rear reflectors and it is almost showroom. Did you find the tiller gearbox when you were searching for parts??
|
Everyone is right. The 124 is a beauty. So nice that it is a member of the family too.
|
Thanks for the kind words. Yeah I'm pretty happy.
I did not find the tiller gearbox, I don't even know why the tiller itself was there, it was a strange and lucky thing to find. So I need a tiller gearbox and a three point hitch...and a creeper would be icing on the cake. |
