1210 Not Starting
 

When I last drove this 1210 a couple weeks ago, it sputtered out on me like it was out of gas and the carburetor bowl was overfilling. I cleaned out the carburetor really good, replaced my fuel filter and tried to start it back up. The bowl is no longer overfilling and it is getting full of fuel. I do have a spark at my spark plug (visual check by holding the plug on the frame) and through all this it has a new spark plug. I'm not getting anywhere though. I tried starter fluid to no avail. I don't smell gas like it is flooded or even getting gas that is not burning. Anybody have any ideas for me? I'm getting frustrated. Thanks in advance

If you unhook the line from the carb and crank the engine over is the pump working?

Yes I do get fuel out of the pump. Also the engine is turning over.

Is it getting spark all the time? Don't you see any gas being atomized into the intake when cranking? Can you tell is it sucking in at the carb? Blowing out the exhaust? Flywheel key isn't sheared is it?

Just because you have a spark on a visual check, it may not be a good enough one to fire the tractor.
Is the plug getting wet while you're turning it over? Also when you wrote you cleaned out the carb really good, could you please elaborate on that?
