Maple Hunter decal application

Painted a couple hoods and a dash yesterday and have new decals to apply from Maple Hunter.
They came w/no instructions.
Are these adhesive backed or water transfer type.?
I e-mailed them but rec'd no answer

Would appreciate some tips from anyone that has applied these to their Cub.
Thanks!

Adhesive back.
They were very good for me.
I lost one of my smaller stickers and ripped the headlight sticker and they sent me new ones FREE

I highly recommend you allow the parts to cure for atleast two weeks before applying decals, as paint drys it releases fumes that will bubble the decals. I use a product called rapid tac to install decals and it works much better than soapy water.

Here is the instructions from Maple Hunter website. On the Home page there is also a video where it says: Other Information and Helpful Links.

Decal Application Instructions

Prepare the Surface

The surface on which the decals are to be applied should have all pitted areas filled. It should be sanded smooth and painted. Wash the surface on which the decals will be applied with soap and water, especially a newly painted surface.

Mylar Decal Application

Peel the backing paper from the decal. Align the decal on the surface and carefully squeegee the decal onto the surface starting in one corner and progressing to the opposite corner. Warm soapy water can be applied to the surface prior to decal application to help adjust the decal once applied.

Vinyl Decal Application

Peel the backing paper from the decal. The decal will adhere to the application tape. Align the decal on the surface using the decal (not the application tape) and carefully squeegee the decal onto the surface starting in one corner and progressing to the opposite corner. Starting at one corner, slowly remove the application tape. The decal will remain on the surface to which it’s applied. Warm soapy water can be applied to the surface prior to decal application to help adjust the decal once applied.

Do not use warm soapy water with chrome decals.

Thanks Darryljs!
I'm assuming here that I am dealing w/vinyl decals
The hood decals for the Original.
So, if I peal off the backing, the Scotchcal 22 film, the letters will stay stuck to the fuzzy top film?
The dash decal has a different backing, shiny like tin foil.
Would that be the mylar one?
Sure don't want to screw this up, parade on Monday!

Peal off the backing and the letters stay on the top part. Mylar and Vinyl decal application are the same way as per instructions.
