149 light switch
 

Was a 2 or 3 position light switch ever an option that will interchange with my original switch? The switch is junk or I would just add the circuit I am needing. I want headlights and rear floods for sure and want to be able to select both or head only.

The Light Switch is a basic SPST 15A switch.

I used a two position boat light switch, second click turns on the rear light.

Thanks, I was wondering what the original was rated for. Did the factory knob happen to fit on the boat switch? I guess that's my actual much simpler question. Is there a 2 or 3 position switch that the aluminum knob fits? I type slower than I think so if the gist of my question gets out there is all I can hope for cuz it's all I got. So if it took me 15 min to type this you all know what you're up against.

IF.....you are looking for something simple and easy, just use the type of switch I mentioned prior. No guessing which terminals to use, no extra wiring, no modifications.
